Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, prominent Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, has passed away at the age of 94.


His death was confirmed on Friday by his Personal Private Secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaid, who expressed deep sorrow in a statement:
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our beloved father, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings. Details of the Janazah will be announced soon, insha Allah.”
Dantata, a leading figure in Nigeria’s business landscape, was widely respected for his philanthropy and contributions to national development. He was the last surviving son of the legendary Alhassan Dantata and played a significant role in expanding the family’s business empire.

Further details regarding his burial and tributes from dignitaries are expected to be released in the coming hours.
