Babachir Lawal Slams Usman Ardo

ABUJA – In a strongly worded statement, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and coalition leader, Babachir Lawal, has publicly condemned Dr. Usman Ardo, Convener of the League of Northern Democrats, for allegedly using the names of prominent political figures without their consent to promote the proposed All Democratic Alliance (ADA) party.

Lawal specifically accused Ardo of falsely linking key personalities, including Rotimi Amaechi, Nasir El-Rufai, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi, to his initiative to register a new political platform.

“Usman Ardo has been using prominent names without authorization to push his planned formation of a new party (ADA),” Lawal asserted. He emphasized that the unauthorized association of these influential figures with the ADA is misleading and aimed at giving undue credibility to Ardo’s political venture.
