The popular monthly interview series, “Boiling Point Arena,” will convene three prominent petroleum experts to dissect the sector’s woes and chart a path forward.

2.Dr. Timothy Okon, a seasoned geophysicist, petroleum economist, financial consultant, and Managing Partner at Teno Energy. He previously served as Acting Group Executive Director, Exploration and Production at NNPC.
3.Engineer Emeka C. Ene, Chief Executive Officer of Oida Energy Group and Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Nigeria Council. He was also a member of the Presidential Task Force on Refineries Reform.
These experts are expected to brainstorm on myriad pressing issues. These include Nigeria’s struggle to meet its crude oil daily production target of 1.8 million barrels, the persistent challenges of oil theft and pipeline sabotage, low local refining capacity, and the prolonged delay in rehabilitating existing refineries.

The discourse will be heralded by a keynote address from the foremost traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof Saka Matemilola, who will also serve as the Chair for the event.
