As James Adeniran Makinde, a silent community builder and visionary leader, marks his 50th birthday today, May 25th, there has been a wave of admiration and accolades from colleagues, associates, and countless individuals who have at one point or the other interacted with the Golden Boy.
James Adeniran Makinde is a proud son of Kosofe Local Government, Lagos and graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Cranfield University, UK and University of Manchester, UK. He works as a General Manager in a leading Oil and Gas company in Nigeria, and believes that everything he has become is by the mercy and grace of God Almighty.

The milestone celebration doubled as a powerful tribute to a life shaped by purpose, integrity, and enduring impact.
Described as a “vision enabler of repute,” Makinde’s golden jubilee drew commendations from across sectors, highlighting a man whose quiet influence has left indelible marks on lives and institutions.
In his heartfelt tribute, the Founder/ CEO of ValidViewNetwork, Kayode Ogunjobi FFAN, extolled Makinde as “a pillar of excellence, a man of integrity, and a quiet force of impact.”

Among Makinde’s many acts of generosity, his recent donation of the inspirational autobiography “Echoes of Mercy” to all tertiary institutions across Ogun State has captured particular attention.
ValidViewNetwork had earlier reported that leaders of these institutions have praised the initiative for its lasting impact, calling it “a ripple of inspiration” that is opening new doors for students and future leaders.
Describing the donation of the Autobiography to Tertiary institutions by James Makinde, Ogunjobi stated “This single act embodies the very essence of who he is.”
