Chester Grant, 40 years old, is accused of fatally stabbing 23 year old Tamilore Odunsi during a dispute over cats in their Houston, Texas apartment on 26th day of April, 2025.
The confrontation reportedly began as an argument but escalated when Chester seized a knife and stabbed Tamilore multiple times, resulting in her immediate death.
Following the incident, Chester attempted to take his own life by stabbing himself in the neck, but he survived after spending several days in the hospital.
He has since been arrested and charged with murder.
Chester and Tamilore had been flatmates for only two months, and just days before the tragedy, Tamilore was eagerly anticipating her graduation from nursing school.
This tragic event abruptly ended her promising future in nursing.
