The funeral service for Abisola Kola-Daisi, eldest daughter of the late former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, was held on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Tower, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Among the dignitaries present were Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin. Governor Sanwo-Olu, sharing photos from the event on X.com, wrote:
“Today, I attended the funeral service of late Abisola Kola-Daisi nee Ajimobi. Abisola’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched many, and her absence will be deeply felt. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, as they navigate this painful time. May her soul rest in peace.”
Speaker Ogundoyin also paid tribute, stating on X.com:

“May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may God comfort her family, especially her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their children during this difficult time. May we continue to uphold the values of empathy and kindness that Abisola embodied during her lifetime. May her legacy live on through her family. Rest in peace, Abisola.”
According to the family’s burial arrangement, a private interment followed the funeral service, attended only by close family members.
Abisola Kola-Daisi passed away on March 27, 2025, in London after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their three children.
