Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has urged police cadets from Oyo State in the Regular Course 7 of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, to represent the state well and be agents of change.

During a reception for the 39 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of the Course, who were in the state for a one-month internship, Makinde advised them to be committed to their chosen career and embrace responsibilities wholeheartedly.
Makinde expressed his appreciation for the Oyo State Police Command’s efforts in maintaining the state’s safety and security, acknowledging his positive experiences working with dedicated and professional police officers.
He congratulated the officers, encouraging them to be good ambassadors for Oyo State and agents of change.
The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Johnson Adenola, thanked the governor for his support. He noted that the number of cadets in Regular Course 7 was the highest ever for the state.
ASP Adeniran Theophilus, speaking on behalf of the Oyo State Regular Course 7 Cadet Contingent, praised the governor’s developmental achievements in the state and assured that he and his colleagues would proudly represent the state.
