The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Francisca Aroyeun, who departed on March 14, 2025, after a brief illness.
Dr. Aroyeun was a distinguished member of the University Community, who served as the pioneer Director, Directorate of Internal Audit. She also held key roles as the former Head of the Procurement Unit and the pioneer Chairperson of FUNAAB SERVICOM. A dedicated professional, she was also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Throughout her years of service, she contributed immensely to the growth and development of the University, participating in numerous committees and initiatives that shaped FUNAAB.
The University extends its heartfelt condolences to her family, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
