The Federal Executive Council, chaired by President Bola Tinubu, has approved the formation of a tripartite committee to streamline the visa processes for investors interested in Nigeria.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced this on Tuesday following the FEC meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

“Our visa processes are becoming cumbersome…The ease of doing business is also tied to our visa processes,” Idris stated. He added that moving forward, investors and tourists would be able to acquire visas within 48 hours.
The meeting, which began on Monday, was adjourned till Tuesday to allow for further significant decisions, Idris informed journalists.
