The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed shock and sadness over the passing of the renowned Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Governor Adeleke described Sisi Quadri as a phenomenal actor who was cherished by many for his exceptional talent.
“Sisi Quadri was a joy to watch on screen, bringing laughter and joy into homes with his unique style of acting,” the governor remarked.
The governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, conveyed the condolence message on Friday, expressing the governor’s deep sorrow at the loss.
“Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji (aka Sisi Quadri) was not only a joy to watch in movies but also a great talent that brought illumination and valuable messages into homes through his work,” the message read.

Adeleke also extended his condolences to the family of the late actor, especially his elderly father, acknowledging the profound impact of Sisi Quadri’s passing on the entire community and the film industry.
“I mourn his loss, recognizing the immense talent that we have lost. My heartfelt condolences go out to his immediate family, the people of Iwoland, the entire movie industry, and everyone affected by this tragic loss,” Adeleke expressed.
He urged the bereaved to find solace in the legacy of impact that Sisi Quadri left behind and prayed for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
The governor concluded by invoking divine blessings, praying for the departed actor to find eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaos.
Sisi Quadri, known for his vibrant performances, particularly in the Yoruba movie industry, passed away at the age of 44.
