Iyalode Alaba Lawson dies at 72

The Iyalode of Egbaland, Chief Mrs Alaba Lawson is dead.

The Chairman board of trustee and Matron of Abeokuta Chambers of Commerce (ABEOCCIMA) died today, Saturday 28th October, 2023.

The executive secretary of Abeoccima, R.O. Mark announced this in a terse statement.

Iyalode Alaba Lawson was a business magnate, entrepreneur and academician, she was the first female president of National Association Of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines And Agriculture (NACCIMA).

She was aged 72.
