Local media reported on Wednesday that a bomb threat directed at Air Canada’s Toronto-bound flight, scheduled to depart from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Tuesday night, was ultimately determined to be a hoax.
Upon receiving an email claiming that a bomb had been planted on the international flight, airport authorities swiftly redirected the aircraft to an isolation bay for inspection.
After a thorough examination by police, no suspicious items were found.
